Q: Where do you ship from?
A: We ship all orders from Europe. Exact locations may vary depending on stock, but we use trusted logistics partners for safe, timely delivery.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! Bimmer-Gear ships worldwide. Customs duties or import taxes may apply in some countries and are the recipient’s responsibility.

Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
A: Delivery within Europe usually takes 5–10 business days. Outside Europe, it may take longer. Tracking info is provided whenever possible.

Q: Can my order get delayed or lost?
A: Rarely, but if your order is lost or delayed, contact us at info@bimmer-gear.com and we’ll investigate and help.


Payment & Orders

Q: How can I pay?
A: We accept all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other common checkout options. All payments are processed securely.

Q: Can I cancel or change my order after purchasing?
A: Once your order is processed, it’s difficult to cancel. Contact us immediately at info@bimmer-gear.com and we’ll do our best to help.


Returns & Refunds

Q: Can I return or exchange an item?
A: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on most products (excluding sale items). Items must be unused, in original packaging.

Q: What if the item is defective or wrong?
A: Contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. We’ll cover return shipping and provide a replacement or refund.


MMI Boxes & Compatibility

Q: Which MMI box is right for my BMW or MINI?
A:

  • CCC: Older BMWs (check your screen or connector).

  • CIC: Mid-generation BMWs.

  • NBT: Newer BMWs.

If you’re unsure, send your model, year, and VIN, and we’ll guide you.

Q: Do I need to modify my car to install the MMI box?
A: No! All our MMI boxes are plug-and-play. No cutting, no permanent modifications. Optional coding can unlock extra features if desired.

Q: Will I lose my original BMW menus or features?
A: Absolutely not. All original menus and functions remain intact. You simply gain extra features like CarPlay, Android Auto, and Video-in-Motion.

Q: Do I need a working AUX input for the upgrade?
A: Only early CCC systems need AUX. Later CIC and NBT systems with Bluetooth streaming do not require AUX.

Q: Are all cables included?
A: Yes, everything needed to install the unit is included—no extra purchases are required.

Q: Can I install it myself?
A: Yes, but we recommend a professional for the easiest and safest installation. Our team provides full guidance via email, Messenger, or phone.

Q: Does this work on MINI vehicles too?
A: Yes! CCC, CIC, and NBT boxes also support compatible MINI models. Check your screen/connector photos to confirm.

Q: What if I have questions or issues after purchase?
A: Our support team is available 7 days a week. We provide installation guidance, troubleshooting, and help with settings.

Q: Do you provide installation instructions or videos?
A: Yes! Every product comes with instructions, and our team can provide step-by-step support if needed.

Q: Are your products affiliated with BMW?
A: No. Bimmer-Gear is independent and not endorsed by BMW AG. Our products are aftermarket solutions to enhance BMW and MINI vehicles.

Q: Will I pay customs?
A: For European customers, no. For international shipments outside the EU, customs duties may apply. Please check your country’s rules.

Q: Why are your products cheaper on the website than elsewhere?
A: Selling platforms often charge high fees, which we avoid when you purchase directly from our website.
